Caramel Apple Syrup

Caramel Apple Syrup
 
I made this simple syrup to serve over my Cinnamon Apple Waffles. (you can find that recipe here) This syrup is so yummy!
 
You will need:
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/2 an apple chopped
2 Tablespoons of Water
1/4 cup Half & Half
 
 
 

Start by adding the Apples and Sugar and Water to a medium size sauce pan. Heat over medium heat stirring occasionally until sugar melts. Once sugar has started to melt, continue cooking and constantly stirring and allow sugar mixture to cook until it boils for 1 minute. Next, add the Half & Half and stir really well.


Serve over your warm waffles and watch your family gobble them up! :)
